PROJECT HARLEM INCORPORATED

A Non Profit organization located in the Bronx and serving the needs of Bronx communities.

About us

We are committed to social responsibility. We always seek ways to integrate economic progress, social development, and environmental concerns to ensure a better quality of life in the African community for future generations. We will achieve these goals by combining Fashion, Art, and Education.

Art

Project Harlem Incorporated is committed to nurturing the artistic growth of Artists, Writers, and Photographers in under-resourced communities in New York City who are interested in Art. We are committed to promoting artists and community members together for creative events and art-related activities. We aim to foster artistic expression by uniting and promoting the artists and strengthening the community.

Education

Project Harlem is designed to recruit, train and motivate talented young African Americans in the U.S. and abroad who are interested in learning marketing and advertising. Participants discover the world of marketing and advertising through hands-on activities, mentoring, presentations, and behind-the-scenes field trips.

Current Projects

We are serving the Morrisania community at Morris Houses in the Bronx for the last quarter of 2024. The launch of our transportation program for seniors and the disabled, along with a Prep for Success workshop and Job fair program date to be determined.

pilot program

As our older adult population in the Bronx continues to grow, the results have been deteriorating health outcomes for a vulnerable population of Bronxites who frequently feel alone. Due to a lack of access to dependable transportation, our seniors struggle with increased social isolation and loneliness, which are already difficult problems.
Our goal is to improve the quality of life for Seniors and people with disabilities in low-income communities by providing them access to arts, recreation, and cultural experiences.
